Blackhawk

When Henry Paul, the lead singer of the southern rock band the Outlaws , moved to Nashville, the rest of the band decided not to join him.

He formed the 90s country band Blackhawk with Van Stephenson and Dave Robbins, who were both session musicians and songwriters. The duo had written Willie Nelson 's 1983 US country hit 'All My Life' and several singles for Restless Heart . Stephenson had also made the solo albums Suspicious Heart and Righteous Anger , and had enjoyed a US Top 40 hit with 'Modern Day Delilah' in 1984. Blackhawk took their name from the Stutz Blackhawk, an American pre-war sports car, and their single, 'Goodbye Says It All', was heavily promoted on CMT.

Other hits include: There You Have It and Almost a Memory Now
