Jan & Dean

When the Southern California Sound came on the scene they had hit classics including: "Surf City", "Drag City", "Ride the Wild Surf", "Sidewalk Surfin'", "Little Old Lady From Pasadena", "Honolulu Lulu", "New Girl in School" and "Dead Man's Curve".

Jan and Dean sold more than 20 million records between the years of 1960 and 1966. Their career came to an abrupt halt at its peak when Jan was seriously injured and almost died in a catastrophic car accident in 1966. The CBS-TV Movie "Deadman's Curve" chronicled Jan's valiant fight to regain his ability to function normally.

With a strong will, therapy and the support of his partner Dean, Jan and Dean began touring again in 1978.
